Itinerary

Day 1

• Arrival and departure to the lodge.
• On arrival to Puerto Maldonado reception and transfer to the main port of embarkation.
• Two hour journey by boat along the Tambopata river, Box Lunch served on board. Arrival to Cayman Lodge, welcome cocktail and brief orientation. Afternoon excursion through the local rainforest. Dinner and evening excursion to observe nocturnal animals and the many sounds from the jungle. Overnight. (L-D)

Day 2

• Two hour trek through the rainforest to Sachavacayoc Lake, observe the many medicinal plants. Arrival to lake, canoe excursion to observe the giant otters, monkeys, birds and many other mammals.
• Early lunch in the rainforest facing the lake.
• Return to the lodge in the afternoon. Dinner.
• Night excursion to see caimans. Overnight. (B-L-D)

Day 3

• Early morning departure back to Puerto Maldonado and local airport. (B)
