Machu Picchu Full Day Tour

Machu Picchu full day tour, is one of the travel alternatives tourists use the most because in one day they can go and see one of the most important destinations in Peru, the site of Machu Picchu. This adventure begins in the city of Cusco where early in the morning we board in the bus which will take us to Olltantaytambo station (90 minutes) or Poroy station (20 minutes) where we will get on our train towards Aguas Calientes (Pueblo beneath the mountain where Machu Picchu is).

The journey from Poroy to Aguas Calientes lasts about 3 hours and 1 hour and 40 minutes approximately from the station of Ollantaytambo. Once in Aguas Calientes we will take a bus that will take us to the Inca city of Machu Picchu (15 minutes). Therefore Machu Picchu full day tour is a good travel option.

ITINERARY

DAY 01: FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU

• Breakfast at your hotel in Cusco.
• 4:30 a.m. The Travel agency stop by your hotel to transfer you from Cusco to the train station in Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu (the travel time between Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu is 1 hour and 40 minutes).
• At 6:30 a.m. we get on our train to Aguas Calientes.
• 8:14 a.m. Arrival in Aguas Calientes.
• Our guide will be waiting to direct you to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu where you will have a guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes. By booking this tour to Machu Picchu you will know the most important archaeological site in South America and all its different attraction points.
• Optional: In addition you can also take time to climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain or go to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes (extra cost).
• After visiting Machu Picchu you will have lunch at a touristic restaurant in Aguas Calientes
• Then you will have time to visit the craft markets of Machu Picchu town.
• 19: 00 p.m. you board our train back to Cusco towards Ollantaytambo town.
• 20: 18 p.m. Arrival at the station of Ollantaytambo.
• 21: 40 p.m. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
