Itinerary
Day 01: Cusco – Lares
- Early morning departure in private transportation from the hotel in Cusco, drive time approx 3 hours which will take you to a point near the mountain pass of Lares (13,986 fts). Here you will mount your bikes for the ride downhill (single track optional). Lunch on route. At some time in the afternoon arrive to local hot springs, where you can relax and bath. Camp / overnight. (L, D).

Day 02: Lares – Santiago
- Early morning rise and breakfast. Mount your bikes for your 78 km ride (mostly downhill) to the town of Santiago, which will take you from the Region of the Andes and into the Amazon Upper Basin. Camp and overnight. (B, L, D).

Day 03: Santiago – Quellouno
- Breakfast and after we will take our private transport up the hill, lunch on route. Arrival to Quellouno, Camp and overnight. (B, L, D).

Day 04: Quellouno – Quillabamba
- Breakfast and ride 98 km to the Jungle town of Quillabamba. If you leave straight after breakfast and you are a strong rider, you can ride the complete distance on this bumpy jungle track. Many people prefer to bike only half the way and to take the private transport the rest of the way. Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D).

Day 5: Quillabamba – Ollanta – Cusco
- Breakfast and after you will make your way back to Cusco in your private transport. The distance will be approx. 105 km and will take you to the top of a pass at 15,000 masl and then down into the Sacred Valley and finally back to Cusco in the afternoon. (B, L).
